System Requirements

What does Emocute Studio / Emocute Visual run on?

Any environment where Claude Code runs (macOS / Linux / Windows + WSL). Requires Python 3.11+ and the Claude Code CLI. Studio assumes Ableton Live 11/12 with Ableton MCP; Visual assumes a real-time HTML/CSS preview environment.

What does Umbrae run on?

Anywhere Claude runs — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Claude on the web. Kagebu is a set of persona definition files you load into Claude. No separate software install is required.

What about the VST plugins (Scope / Harmonizer / Geomonic)?

Currently in development. At release they will support VST3 / CLAP hosts (Ableton Live, Logic, FL Studio, Reaper, Bitwig, etc.).

What payment methods are accepted?

Card payment via Stripe.

Do I get a receipt?

Stripe sends an automatic receipt email at purchase. For reissues, contact support@emocutelab.com.

Download and Sign-in

How do I sign in?

Sign in with your email and password. Create an account from the sign-up page if you don't have one. Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page to receive a reset email.

I lost my download link

Sign in and re-download from the library. If you no longer remember the email used, contact support@emocutelab.com with the purchase details. There is no time limit.

License

Can I use it commercially?

License terms vary by product. Studio / Visual / Kagebu permit personal and small-scale commercial use. For secondary use or sampling of album tracks, please contact us separately. See the LICENSE notice on each product page for details.

Can I redistribute?

Redistribution is not permitted for any product. Sharing the same ZIP or source files with others violates the license.

Updates

Are updates free?

Updates within the same major version are free. The treatment of the next major version (for example, v9 → v10) will be decided at the time of release.

I want to roll back to an older version

We keep ZIPs of past versions. Contact support@emocutelab.com with the desired version.

Refunds and Support

Can I get a refund?

Due to the nature of downloadable digital goods, refunds are generally not accepted. For exception cases such as corrupted files, defects, or duplicate payments, see the refund policy.

I found a bug

Contact support@emocutelab.com. Including reproduction steps, your OS, and the product version helps us respond faster.

Can I request a feature?

Yes — send it to support@emocutelab.com. We cannot promise to ship every request, but we use them to prioritise development.
