An AI music production source package designed to run on Claude Code. Not a standalone app.

A production environment that bundles Python source, a harmony dictionary, Suno vocabulary data, production workflows, and spec files Claude Code auto-reads on startup. Unzip and run claude — Claude reads the spec files, picks up the rules, tools, and workflow, and starts producing right away. From phrases like "melancholic lofi," "dark verse that opens up at the chorus," or "footwork with a touch of sweetness," Claude references the bundled docs and code and assembles chord progressions, MIDI design directions, lyrics, and Suno prompts. v8.2.1 ships approximately 51,000 lines of Python, a 336-entry harmony dictionary, 566 Suno vocabulary words, and 41 Suno production tools.

Where Suno Alone Falls Short

Suno struggles with mid-song modulations and odd meters when driven by text alone. Emocute Studio assumes you'll design MIDI and upload it to Suno, so the areas text prompts can't handle become controllable.

What's New since v8.1

Update notifications (v8.2.1)On `import emocute`, a single-line notice appears when a new version is released. 24-hour cache, 2-second HTTP timeout, completely silent on failure, no telemetry. Disable with `EMOCUTE_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1`.
Claude Code supportRuns by simply launching Claude Code. ZIP upload and custom-prompt pasting are no longer required.

Claude installs Python, the required libraries (midiutil, numpy, scipy, librosa, soundfile, pyloudnorm, pydub), FluidSynth, Demucs, and the rest on demand during the conversation. No pre-setup.

A source-code product that ships development assets as-is. Not a finished GUI app. Output and optimal usage may change as Claude or Suno specs evolve. The code and documents include development history and validation notes. Commercial use permitted; redistribution prohibited.
